Porsche Golf Cup enjoys successful return
Unbroken enthusiasm for the Porsche Golf Cup: after the break caused by the pandemic, the exclusive amateur tournament series returned in 2021 – and was highly successful.
Due to the huge Germany-wide interest, almost 4,000 golfers took part in this year’s 47 tournaments where there were special hygiene measures in place. The top golfers at the qualifying competitions met last weekend at the Germany Final held at the Frankfurt Golf Club (net B and gross) and the Golf Club Neuhof (net C and A) to determine, in four separate competitions, the participants for the coming year’s Porsche Golf Cup World Final in Mallorca.
The Germany Final’s 148 golfers enjoyed, no matter how well they did, wonderful times on and off the challenging courses in Frankfurt and Neuhof. In the coming year, there will not only be one Team Germany. As the 2019 season’s Porsche Golf Cup World Final has not been able to have been played up until now, there will be two World Finals one after the other in early summer next year.
